Can’t help feeling touched just by this. Made me cry
How amazing is this, really
Last night I hung out with my friend Darrah and we were just talking about the state of the world and I feel like I have been losted in an obiss and I have lost sight of light and what it means to love and live in peace. I have missed so much the grace that God has given me!
I have missed…
I view what I have with God as a relationship and not a religion. One that is based purely on the faith in Him, that doesn’t require any form of confirmation that his powers are true through any earthly signs. How can anyone have such belief in God without any doubt? Believing in things we do not see and hear, but just deep down in that heart being able to feel his presence, his works and his amazing strength. That’s the mighty power of God who is able to surpass all forms of human doubt and plant Himself so deeply in people’s hearts guiding them in their lives. What can be more wonderful than that?
God is meant to be someone who controls everything on this earth. From the sun to the moon to the seas mountains and skies. Earth didn’t just come about from some theory, naturally or by any chance. It must have been from someone who is amazing and strong enough to create a place such as Earth, with all its beautiful greenery and open seas. He made this place!
“Here in this world that you’ve designed. From the rolling plains to the oceans deep and wide. Where are the words that can say what’s in my heart? All that I am, is amazed by who you are.”
- I Desire by Natalie Grant
Sometimes when I happen to see some of the most lovely things God has made in this world when I travel, I never fail to stop and take it all in with the gratefulness for everything that he has made. A religion will never allow you to have that kind of faith and thankfulness, but rather simply a submission that we have no choice to be in such a place that someone created. But a relationship will be able to penetrate that innocent submission and find our purpose in our existence in this world.
There may be ugly things, things that scare you, things that look undesirable and awful, things that happen to make people wonder if God is real. If he is, why did he make these things and why does he allow the bad things to happen? The thing is, God didn’t make or create or design all these negative things! Why would someone as powerful as God bother to create such ugly and bad things! If you think of God who is a designer, someone who can make anything that he wants with all the resources He has, there is no reason for him to design bad and negative things! Which designer would actually do that?! Just like any of us who have needs and wants we seek for, probably new items clothes belongings, if we had all the money, we would buy the most beautiful things, the most expensive things, the most wonderfully designed things and never the ugliest product. God who has all the ‘money’ he has would definitely choose to make the most amazing things to make us amazed and stunned as His works!
Many feel that God allowed bad things to happen and allowed man to create such negative things, blame God, the skies, the heavens and blame Him for anything wrong that has happened. What wrong have I done to make God do this to me?? We never blame mankind.
What appears to be weird about that is that He never made these things happen… and yet we are blaming him. Negative things would only have came from man. If one of your family members got into an accident and you blame God because your family member has done nothing wrong and you question why God did that, the reality is, it was by human error that the driver made while driving, or probably the error of the person who was crossing. Why do diseases occur to the kindest people?? Diseases appeared because of viruses which can be said to be the result of human doing. Nuclear poisoning, a disease created that has harmed several thousands of people because of man’s desire to create this form of energy. In these kind of situations, where humans are not able to control widespread destruction and harm as a result of our doing, the only solution would be to seek the power of an almighty God to help! I find it absolutely ironic that instead of looking to God and asking Him to save us from these troubles, we are openly just blaming Him! The one who can actually help us…
People would rather believe in superstitions than believe in God. Sometimes even believing that a particular thing could keep them safe or believing that if they do some things, God would reward them. It is by fear that people do such things. By the uncertainty of how things would turn out if they missed out on doing something or did something wrongly. Why do we need to be afraid of all these negativities and choose to believe in human items to keep us safe when the most powerful one is above watching over us in every step that we take? We don’t need to have any sort of product that is said to create wonders or to ward of any evil things, just as long as we have the most powerful one in our hearts. One that no one will be able to take away from you, unlike any chains, bangles or items.
The only fear that we have should be the fear of the Lord. Why do we even fear an ant but not fear a lion?? Even if we want to be afraid of something, what is the point of having fear in small negative things but not fearing God which is the one who controls the universe?
And the fear of the Lord is a good thing. How can fear ever be a good thing you may wonder… The fear of God can only be present when you know that He is the most influential and 'super’ thing that can ever exist. The fear in Him is nothing but the respect and adoration that we have for Him. God never instills fear in us and this fear that we have of Him is a godly form of fear that doesn’t scare us. We are afraid of God because we know that he created us, but never because we think that if we don’t fulfill anything that he wants of us, he will punish us. Isn’t this the only form of fear that exists that is not because we know of our wrongdoings? God knows that we are not perfect but he still treasures every one of us dearly and all the same. That’s precisely the reason why the fear of the Lord is a good thing because we know that no matter what wrong we do, He forgives. Just as long as we know what we did isn’t pleasing to His eyes and not do it again. He is the only one who understands us, knows that we, as humans, can make errors. There can be no other God who can actually forgive you even before you do something wrong, isn’t it?
I feel touched by Him whenever I think of Him as someone who is always there for me, who knows all the deepest secrets and someone who is able to keep me safe wherever I go and in anything that I do. Someone who is able to bring me comfort and joy when things do go wrong. A mighty saviour who surpassses all the greatest kings and powers in this world. The one who I can have absolute faith without a single doubt that his powers are unreal or that his presence does not exist. The one who I can believe that can take away all my mini fears because they are just but small things that is not difficult for Him to rid. He, who has blessed me with so many awesome things and people, and will continue to bless me with much more greater things in the years to come, as I grow older. And ultimately, the one
who stays so deeply in my heart, keeping it safe, the key to my heart.
